The new museum, also named ‘the green nautilus’, is located at Jing’an District, Shanghai, with an overall construction area of 451,000 square meters. There are 2 floors under the ground and 3 above. The building height is 18 meters. The building has applied ecological energy saving technologies such as energy-saving curtain wall, solar energy, ground hot water energy, natural light.
