Starting from September 16th, you can travel from Shenzhen or Guangzhou to Nanchang within 5 hours by high-speed train of which the lowest ticket price is 472 yuan.
Two trains will depart from Guangzhou South and two from Shenzhen North, passing part of Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed rail stations:- Shenzhen North; Humen; Guangzhou South; Qingyuan; Shaoguan; Hengyang East; Zhuzhou West and Changsha South where they will get into Changsha to Nanchang high-speed rail.
From Changsha to Nanchang, the trains will pass Changsha South, Liling East, Pingxiang North, Yichun, Xinyu North, Gaoan and Nanchang West. The highest speed is 350 kilometers per hour.
Changsha-Nanchang is a section of Shanghai-Kunming high-speed rail which is the longest east-west high-speed rail in China passing Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Changsha, Guiyang and Kunming. Shanghai-Hangzhou section has been in operation since 2010.
