Xinjiang High-Speed Rail to Open

Xinjiang’s first high-speed rail, Urumqi to Hami section is to open on November 16th since when the travel time between these two cities will be cut into around 3 hours.

The section is as long as 530 kilometers which will pass 5 stations:- Urumqi South, Turpan North, Shanshan North, Tuha and Hami.

Urumqi to Hami section is part of Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed rail and the whole line is expected to be in operation at the end of this year.
