Sectional Trains Coming to Longgang Line

The operator of Longgang Line will run sectional trains between Huaxin and Tangkeng stations starting Monday.

The sectional trains will operate on weekdays, from 7:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., to relieve rush-hour crowds on the highly used Metro line.

Departure intervals will be reduced to 3 minutes and 30 seconds from the current 5 minutes. The sectional trains also are intended to alleviate crowds at Buji Station, which has seen a surge of passengers since the opening of Shenzhen East Railway Station.
