Is Wuhan to Build World’s Highest Skyscraper?

Wuhan, Hubei Province

Wuhan is to build a 1km high skyscraper.

Named Phoenix Tower, it will exceed Dubai’s Burj Khalifa Tower, the world’s highest building.

The news has caught world-wide interest as lots of news media are forwarding it, however, Wuhan government hasn’t the plan to build the tower according to the reporters from Changjiang Daily who has checked with several related government departments. 

Huayan group, the company who assigned the design firm Chetwoods Architects to do the master plan, hasn’t commented anything on this project.
