Guangdong and Macao Launches Unified Transport Card

Starting next month, Guangdong and Macao are launching a new joint-smartcard, uniting and simplifying the means of travel across the Delta. 


The pass contains two independent currency systems, RMB for use on the mainland and the Macau Pataca for use in Macao. It is similar to the integration of the Lingnan Tong card with Hong Kong’s Octopus card.
