Free Luxury Homes Built for Entire Village

In 2010, a flood destroyed most of the houses in Xiongkeng Village, Shuibei Town, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province.

Four businessmen coming from this village who are brothers invest around 36 million yuan to build 18 townhouses for all the villagers.

The villagers can live in the 228 square meters villa and obtain the housing property by giving 30,000 yuan. The villas are free for poor families. 2/3 of the villagers have moved into their new houses.

In addition to the villas, a new computer room, a reading room, a basketball court, a gym, a cultural center and other facilities are added to this new community.

1.3 million yuan are also invested to build a canteen for the old people whose ages are above 60 and for their medical care.

Xiong Shuihua, one of the donators said:” It is awkward if one person is having a wealthy life while the others are living in the opposite way. I hope everybody here can live in a good life.”
