Chongqing to Build World Largest Underground Parking Lot

Chongqing is going to build a world largest underground parking lot which contains 14,000 parking spaces at a commercial area.

The parking lot is going from level minus two to level minus five.

On level minus two, there will be circulation lanes for transportation and some parking spaces. From the third to the fifth underground floor, there will be full of parking spaces.

More than 20 exits are designed to connect the surrounding areas.

The underground parking lot is jointly designed by Nikken Sekkei and BIAD.
