April 2016 updated RESIDENTIAL sales prices for 70 medium and large-sized cities in China.

I. Sales Prices of Newly Constructed Residential Buildings (excluding affordable housing).

Month-on-Month price changes: 

• Declined in 5 cities
  
• Increased in 65 cities
• The lowest was down by 0.5% (Jinzhou)
• The highest increase was 5.8% (Hefei)
  

Year-on-Year price changes:

• Decreased in 23 cities
  
• Increased in 46 cities
  
• 1 city remained at the same level.
• The lowest was down by 3.2% (Jinzhou)
• The highest increase was 63.4% (Shenzhen)
  

​​II. Sales Prices of Second-Hand Residential Buildings

Month-on-Month price changes: 

• Decreased in 10 cities
  
• Increased in 51 cities
  
• 9 cities remained at the same level
• The lowest was down by 0.4% (Shenzhen)
• The highest increase was 6.8% (Hefei)
  

Year-on-Year price changes:

• Decreased in 22 cities
  
• Increased in 47 cities
  
• 1 city remained at the same level
• The lowest was down by 7.2% (Jinzhou)
• The highest increase was 56.1% (Shenzhen)
