How to Prevent Flooding Film Ideas

This February BWPI participated in "How to Prevent Flooding" film ideas competition organized by the UK　Landscape Institute and sponsored by ACO. 

The purposes of this competition were as following:

● To improve resilience to flooding

● Enhance ecosystems  

●Addressing the impact of climate change 

● Create jobs

● Mitigate flood risk

● Mitigate water pollution

● Reduce demand on the mains water supply

●Improve connections between land and water

●Provokes debate and thinking about good practice

BWPI’s film shows the ways in which it is possible to manage, store and distribute water, and how we plan both the natural and the built environment to make our towns, cities and rural areas more resilient.
