Tianjin Tries to Address 'The Last Mile Problem'

Small buses connecting residential areas and main bus stops are being put in to use in Tianjin.

Tianjin has developed 10 new public bus branch lines connecting the residential areas with the main public bus terminals.

One hundred small buses have been put into use. The operating length of the branch lines is about 7 km and every 500 meters there is a bus stop.
 
The average interval of departure is 15 minutes. The earliest bus sets off no later than 6:30am and the last bus knocks off no earlier than 9pm.
