Industry analysts said that Shenzhen will play a more important role in movie productions and cultural tourism after the Paramount Theme Park is built in Bao’an District. It will also lay a solid foundation for the city’s international drive.
The construction of a large-scale theme park will further drive the development of the city’s economy, as well as pushing up the housing prices in the neighborhood, the analysts said.

Owned by Paramount Pictures and based in Florida, the United States, the theme park was founded 15 years ago, with more than 27,000 employees and a capacity to host over 14 million visitors per year.
