 Guizhou-Guangzhou Hign-Speed Rail  | Guizhou-Guangzhou high-speed rail is to commence operation on the 26th December, 2014, according to Mr Chen Shaorong, deputy mayor of Guiyang City. It will take almost 5 hours to travel from Guanghzou to Guiyang and the proposed ticket price is around 200 yuan. In order to attract tourists from Guangdong, Guizhou government has released a set of favourable traveling package:- Group travelers can enjoy free tickets for all the tourism places in Guizhou Province on the first day of operation; Group travelers or independent travelers can enjoy 50% discount for the scenic spots tickets by showing high-speed rail tickets from the second day of operation to February 28th and 30% discount from March 1st to April 30th.
