THE WRITING EXPERIENCE

It was a completely new challenge for me to write my first book. At a presentation I gave in Shenzhen in 2021, I described the process that I was experiencing and the troubles I was going through: -

1. Finding the right publisher;
2. Agreeing the contract;
3. Delivering the draft;
4. Illustrations and copyright;
4. Proofing and copy-editing;
5. Indexing;
6. Promotion.

Its a long process and the writing part is the easy bit. Its the specialist area that you actually know about, everything else is an initiation which can be rather fun. Its a way to learn new skills that you never expected to. The internet is a lifesaver!
