Shanghai is advocating using the new energy vehicles by adopting the policies which will ensure that space for charging posts for  these vehicles will be considered in urban planning and land concessions will be given accordingly.

Recently, Shanghai has built 24 filling stations for “new energy” vehicles and around 2100 charging posts which are located near  buses stations, companies, universities, parking lots, high-speed service centres and other areas.

According to statistics, 4246 of new energy vehicles were sold in the city by the end of September, 70% of which are purchased by private users.
