August 2016 updated RESIDENTIAL sales prices for 70 medium and large-sized cities in China.

I. Sales Prices of Newly Constructed Residential Buildings (excluding affordable housing).

Month-on-Month price changes: 
  • Declined in 4 cities
  • Increased in 64 cities
  • 2 cities remained at the same level
  • The biggest decline was down by 0.3% (Shaoguan)
  • The highest increase was 5.6% (Zhengzhou)
Year-on-Year price changes:
  • Decreased in 6 cities
  • Increased in 62 cities
  • 2 cities remained at the same level.
  • The biggest decline was down by 3.8% (Jinzhou)
  • The highest increase was 44.3% (Xiamen)

​​II. Sales Prices of Second-Hand Residential Buildings

Month-on-Month price changes: 
  • Decreased in 9 cities
  • Increased in 57 cities
  • 4 cities remained at the same level
  • The biggest decline was down by 0.4% (Dali)
  • The highest increase was 4.5 % (Zhengzhou)

Year-on-Year price changes:
  • Decreased in 16 cities
  • Increased in 53 cities
  • 1 cities remained at the same level
  • The biggest decline was down by 4.4% (Jinzhou)
  • The highest increase was 46.9% (Hefei)
