May 2016 updated RESIDENTIAL sales prices for 70 medium and large-sized cities in China.

I. Sales Prices of Newly Constructed Residential Buildings (excluding affordable housing).

Month-on-Month price changes: 
  • Declined in 4 cities
  • Increased in 60 cities
  • 6 cities remained at the same level
  • The biggest decline was down by 0.5% (Mudanjiang)
  • The highest increase was 5.5% (Xiamen)
Year-on-Year price changes:
  • Decreased in 18 cities
  • Increased in 50 cities
  • 2 cities remained at the same level.
  • The biggest decline was down by 3.2% (Jinzhou)
  • The highest increase was 54% (Shenzhen)

​​II. Sales Prices of Second-Hand Residential Buildings

Month-on-Month price changes: 
  • Decreased in 13 cities
  • Increased in 49 cities
  • 8 cities remained at the same level
  • The biggest decline was down by 0.5% (Baotou)
  • The highest increase was 6.3% (Xiamen)

Year-on-Year price changes:
  • Decreased in 18 cities
  • Increased in 50 cities
  • 2 cities remained at the same level
  • The biggest decline was down by 6.5% (Jinzhou)
  • The highest increase was 46.8% (Shenzhen)
